Mildred Smith

Mrs. Mildred Crosby Smith, 91, of Dalton and formerly of Scooba, Ms., died Sunday morning, October 15, 2006 at Regency Park Health Care Center.
She was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by husband, Newton James Smith, Sr.; five brothers and sisters.
Mildred is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Newton James Smith, Jr. and Mary of Austin, Texas.
Daughters and Sons-in-law, Dottie Smith Boring and Kenneth of Dalton, Carolyn Smith Lipscomb and Danny of Columbia, Tn.
Grandchildren; Mark and Kelly Smith, Stephen and Jenny Smith, Leah B. and Jay Hill, Danielle and Blake Malone, Justin Lipscomb and Laura Borning.
Great-Grandchildren; Gavin Smith and Alaina Smith; Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 A.M. at Scooba Baptist Church in Scooba, MS
Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery in Newton, MS
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 7 P.M. at Love Funeral Home in Dalton and Friday from 10 until 11 A.M. at Scooba Baptist Church in Scooba, MS
