Mrs. Aloe Marie Scott Allmon, 90, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Morningside of Dalton. She was the daughter of the late, Alfred and Margaret Harper Scott and was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Myers Allmon in 1992; sisters, Ora Kincaid, Ollie Stephens, Ruth Painter, Ruby Houston , Bertha Ingle and Myrtle Cox; brother, Edd Scott; grandchildren, Donnie Dalrymple, Cindy Briggs and Karen Eleton; great-grandchild, Derek Simmons.
Aloe is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Allmon Owen of Soddy Daisy,TN and Claudette Allmon Shaheen of Dalton; grandchildren, Chrissie Shaheen, Stacy Douglas, Leslie Ollinger, Diane Woody, Susie Simmons and Jeff Dalrymple; great-grandchildren, Christopher Burkhardt, Colt Simmons, Sidney Woody, John Woody, Katie Woody, Mary Douglas, Eli Ollinger and Lily Anna Ollinger; great-great-grandchild, M. J. Burkhardt; special friend, Louise Martin of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the special staff at Morningside of Dalton for their wonderful care, support and love.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Trammell Campbell and the Rev. Chris Conner officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 1 to
3 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Dug Gap Baptist Church, 2031 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, GA 30720.
