Mrs. Ida Lou Nesbitt Brewer Fife, 84, of Dalton, passed away Saturday July 24, 2010. She was born September 6, 1925 to Boyd Flynn Nesbitt and Essie Mae Brewer. A beloved mother and housekeeper Ida Lou loved to travel and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. Ida Lou was of the Baptist Faith and was a long time member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands George Leemone Brewer and Eugene Fife along with son Clay Brewer and Son-in law Don Williams.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Eva Brewer of Dalton, daughters and son-in-law, Faye Williams of Dalton, Cynthia and Bill Seaton of Cohutta; Daughter-in-law, Debbie Brewer of Rome; sister Mary Lou Hannah of Atlanta. Grandchildren and their spouses Kim and Jim Cusick of California, Amanda and Terry Shropshire of Dalton, Andy Brewer of Nashville, Kyle Brewer of Rome, Holly and Jeremy Thompson of Dalton, Keith Williams of Dalton and Cheryl and Shawn Whaley of Chatsworth;10 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Cofeld officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday after 6 P.M.
