Jonathan Simmons

Mr. Jonathan Simmons, 38, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tommie Neely and Attrice “Duck” Neely; and his paternal grandparents, Sye Simmons and Ida Simmons.
Jonathan is survived by his parents, Danny and Judy Simmons of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Leslie Simmons of Dalton, Steven and Brenna Simmons of Nashville, TN., Christopher and Melissa Simmons of Birmingham, AL.; nephews, Spencer Simmons and Wes Simmons (sons of Steven and Brenna Simmons), Sye Simmons and Grant Simmons (sons of David and Leslie Simmons); aunts, Christine Barnes and Diane Smith; cousins, Kent Barnes, Christy Lee and Paul Barnes,
Services will be Sunday at 3:30 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Dalton with Dr. Billy T. Nimmons and Mr. Doug Bryant officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the church Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials be made to the Walter E. Boehm Birth Defect Center, 975 E. Third St., Chattanooga, TN. 37403.
