Harold M. Barber

Mr. Harold M. Barber, 83, of Dalton passed away October 25, 2006 at Regency Park Health Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ernestine “Tina” Barber in 2002; parents, William Simpson and Annie Murphy Barber; Brothers, Bill Barber and Jack Barber; Sisters, Delsie Mae Arnold, Louise Dewberry and Betty Jean Keen.
Harold is survived by his Sons and Daughter-in-law; Ronald Barber and Tommy and June Barber all of Dalton.
Daughters and Son-in-law, Brenda and Jay Russell and Anna Ellison all of Dalton.
Sister; Annabelle Stacy of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Angela Fleming and Meredith Kocher both of Dalton; Lori Shepard of Little Rock, Ark.; Christa Porter of Chattanooga, Tn.; Kristian Ellison of Orange Park, Fl.; Lindsey Barber of Calhoun.
Great-grandchildren, Katie and Kyle Fleming, Lauren Shepard, Zachary Thornton, Chase Thornton, Robyn Tallent, Cole Kocher, Peyton Kocher and Hunter Gibbs.
Several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Regency Park for their love and support to Dad and his family and the people from Hospice who helped to make him as comfortable as possible in his last days.
Services will be Saturday at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with
the Rev. William “Oogie” Roberts officiating.
Burial will be in the West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to
7:30 P.M.
