Linda Brown

Mrs. Linda Smithey Brown, 62, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was the daughter of the late George and Bertha Patton Smithey and was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Brown and brother, J. C. Smithey.
Linda is survived by her sons, Preston and Laura Brown and Robby Brown all of Dalton; grandson, Jackson Brown of Dalton; sisters, Evelyn Roberts and Willie Mae Ledford both of Dalton; brother, George Smithey, Jr. of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Phillips Gentry, the Rev. Rodney Kennedy and the Rev. Pratt Hughes officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday after 5 P.M.
