Ely Nathan Cavender

Mr. Ely Nathan Cavender, 68, of Dalton, passed away, Friday, November 3, 2006 in Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Frank Cavender and Ima Jean Adams and was preceded in death by his step-father, Freeman Adams; brothers, Amos Cavender and E. J. Cavender; Grandchild, Malachi Andrews Padgett.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Betty Andrews Cavender of Dalton.
Sons and daughter-in-law, Marlon Cavender and Michael and Jackie Cavender all of Dalton.
Daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Chris Amos of Rocky Face.
Brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Ann Adams of Virginia.
Sisters and brother-in-law, Rossell Beckett of Canton, GA., and Myrnell and Ron Minner of S. C.
Sisters-in-law, Alice Cavender and Fay Cavender both of LaGrange and Katie Simmons of Tunnel Hill.
Grandchildren, Mark Cavender, Melissa Cavender, Morgan Padgett, Maegan Padgett, Nicholas Amos, Jacob Amos, Wes Hackney and Macie Hackney.
Nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 4 P. M. at CrossPointe Christian Centre with the Rev. Gary Tomberlin officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 8 P.M.
