Bobby Cady

Mr. Bobby Jim Cady, 74, of the Dawnville Community Dalton, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Isaac and Minnie Richardson Cady and was preceded in death by his twin brother, Billy Cady and brothers, Alton Cady and Ivan Cady; sisters, Wilma Rollins, Arlene Rann and Pat Thomason.
He was a member of the Dawnville United Methodist Church.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Woods Cady of Dalton; children, Karen and Steve Griffin, Kimberly Cady, Steven and Traci Cady all of Dalton; grandchildren, Jordan and Brandi Griffin, Jennifer Griffin, Noah Cady and Ben Cady; great-grandchild, Lilli Griffin; sister, Marylynn Griggs of Dalton; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Cady, Marlene Cady and Bea Cady all of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. John Merk officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Dawnville United Methodist Church, 1409 Dawnville Rd., N.E., Dalton, Ga. 30721 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
