Thomas "T. J." Anderson, Jr.

Mr. Thomas J. “T. J.” Anderson, Jr., 91, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Quinton Memorial Health Care.
He was born December 17, 1918 in Whitfield County to the late Thomas J. “Jude” Anderson and Maude Trippe Anderson and was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Anderson and his sister, Sue Keith.
T. J. served in the United States Army Air Corps throughout World War II and retired from the Dalton Post Office as superintendent of mails after 32 years of service. He was also a long time member of First Baptist Church of Dalton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Frances Bartenfeld Anderson of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Ron Kennedy of Dalton; granddaughter and her husband, Katy and Stephen Stacy of Dalton; grandson, David Kennedy of Statesboro, GA.; great-granddaughters, Aidan and Madalyn Stacy.
A family graveside service in West Hill Cemetery is planned.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 4 to 6 P.M.
The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Dalton, P.O. Box 827, Dalton, Ga. 30722-0827.
