Tommy Moore

Mr. Tommy Huston Moore, 63, of Rocky Face, went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 23, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Quillian and Jeanette Moore; sister-in-law, Rebecca Brown and sister, Doris Jean Moore.
Tommy was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was a devoted member of Unity Baptist Church and loved his church family very much. He also loved being a member of the Southeast Whitfield Quarterback Club.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Karen Evans Moore of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Michael A. (Tony) and Tina Moore of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Patrick Wingfield of Calhoun; grandchildren, Anthony Stanley, Taylor Jay Moore, Sarah Katie Moore and Adrian “Whitley” Wingfield; mother, Duzzie Moore of Dalton; brothers, Quillian Huston Moore, Jr. of Washington, GA. and John Moore of Chattanooga, TN.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Fred Roe of Kodiak, TN., Annette and Don Schriber of Patterson, Iowa, Kay and Doug Curtis of Chattanooga, TN. and Kim Moore of Dalton; special brother-in-law, Sam Evans of Crandall; special uncle, Walter Adams of Lehigh Acres, FL.; special family friends, Rosemary Jasperse of Rocky Face, Doyle Dobson and Jim Bartenfield both of Dalton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday from Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Marlin officiating.
Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
