Heinz Gruber

Heinz Gruber, 67, of Tonisvorst, Germany, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Katherina Gruber and a brother, George Gruber who passed away this year.
Heinz was born May 18, 1939.
As a Dalton resident for 37 years, he was extremely instrumental in bringing the Dalton Carpet Industry to World renown. He was a dear friend to the industry on every level and his enthusiasm in everything he did, his knowledge of the carpet industry and machinery, and his friendship will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Manfred and Annemie Gruber of Germany.
Niece and husband, Ute and Jurgen Keusen and their children, Daniel and Marie.
Niece and husband, Heike and Lothar Gruber and their child, Ann-Christin all of Germany.
Sister-in-law, Marlene Gruber of Germany.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 1, 2006 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Tyler Downing officiating.
Burial will in Tonisvorst, Germany.
