Joan Grant

Mrs. Joan Self Grant, 85, of Dalton, passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at Regency Park Health Care.
She was the daughter of the late, Ivan and Annie Pangle Self and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Grant; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Self, Preston and Margaret Self and Frank and Henrietta Self.
Joan was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In the 1960’s, her love of music and her tallent, led her to sing with the Kittle Sisters, on
W.B.L.J. Radio Dalton, GA.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Donna Grant of Dalton; grandson, Tyler Grant of Dalton; nieces and nephews, Jan (Self) and
W. R. Keith, Gail Self, Jack and Diane Self; great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Blackwood, Rev. Fred Johnson and the Rev. James Gwin officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to
7 P.M.
