Vilena "Vi" Stone

Mrs. Vilena “Vi” Hill Stone, 93, of Dalton. departed to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17,2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Wash Hill, SR. and Essie Walters Hill and was preceded in death by her husband, Parson Stone, Sr.; son, Douglas Lamar Stone; brother, W.W. Hill, JR.; sister, Delrea Davis; great-grandchild, Savannah Chase Belcher.
She was a member of the Resaca Church of God.
Vilena is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Parson Stone, Jr. and Sue of Chatsworth, GA., George and Laurie Stone, David Stone all of Dalton;
daughters and sons-in-law, Scarlett Milton of Dalton, Vickie and Charles Jones of Tunnel Hill, GA., Judy and Clarence Tye of Chatsworth, Kaleen and Curtis Belcher of Dalton, Cynthia and Kendall Hall of Chatsworth; sisters, Wanda Roberts of Dalton and Gloria Yaeger of Buckner, MO.; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Bishop J. Sean Belcher and Pastor Mitchell Gaston officiating.
Burial will be in Antioch cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Sunday after 3 P.M.
