Dot Boggs

Mrs. Dot Boggs, 80, of Dalton, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.
She was born in Buford, Ga., daughter of the late, Owen and Margaret Nuckolls and Annie Nuckolls; graduated from the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in 1947; worked as a critical care nurse at Hamilton Medical Center for 20 years and then worked for Dalton Obstetrics and Gynecology for approximately
22 years. She was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Thad E. Boggs Sr. in April of 2006 and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Thad E. Boggs, Jr. and
Mary Catherine of Jacksonville, Fl., Tommy and Jane Boggs of Dalton, Tim and Linda Boggs of Pleasant View, Tn.; Grandchildren, Matthew Boggs, Mitchell Boggs, Angela Boggs and Gabrielle Boggs; sister, Mildred Bartlett of Cary, N.C.;
nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Friday at 11 A.M. at the Dalton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wilson and the Dr. Billy T. Nimmons officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to
8 P.M.
