Weldon Padgett

Mr. Weldon Donald “Tom” Padgett, 83, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, December 24,2006 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Padgett, Jim Padgett and Steve Daley.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in W.W. II.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Ruth Brown Padgett of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dan Winton of Chattanooga, Tn.; sons, Donnie Padgett and Michael Padgett both of Dalton; sister, Velma Parker of Dalton; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Bruce Beach officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.
