Sherry Griggs Ellis

Mrs. Sherry Griggs Ellis, 71, of Dalton, died Friday , January 26, 2007 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Cline and Faye Head Griggs.
Sherry was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Dalton and served in the children’s nursery for over 25 years.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Don Ellis of Dalton.
Children, Denise and Chip Sellers of Dalton, Diane and Johnny Westmoreland of Dalton, Donna and Lonny Jones of Dalton, Greg Ellis and partner Tom Majors of Tucker, Ga., Jeff and Janet Ellis of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Abby Sellers of Greenville, SC., Ty Sellers of Athens, GA., Micky Westmoreland of Dalton., Bucky Westmoreland of Raleigh, NC., Joey Westmoreland of Chattanooga, TN., Nealey Dillard, Cassie Dillard, Madison Ellis and Ansely Ellis all of Dalton.
Five Great-Grandchildren.
Aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial Service will be Monday at 2 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the First United Methodist Church Monday from noon till 2 P.M.
A private burial service will be held for family on Sunday afternoon.
