Mrs. Ina “Kate” Suddeth Adams, 86, of Dalton, parted this life to her heavenly home, Saturday, February 17, 2007 at NHC Healthcare in Ft. Oglethorpe.
Mrs. Adams was born in Monroe Co., Tn. and moved to Dalton at a early age, where she lived until moving to Michigan in the early 1950’s. Upon retirement of 30 years of faithful service to General Motors, she returned to Dalton.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marathon, Fl.
She was a loving mother, who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents, William Jackson and Cora Britton McNabb, sister, Inez King Davenport, brother, Doug McNabb, and daughter, Marilyn Suddeth.
Ina is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Suddeth of Inverness, Fl., Glenna Adams of Dalton.
Sons and daughters-in-law, Trammell and Shelley Suddeth of Dalton, Dan and Janice Adams, Sr. of Flint, Mi.
Grandchildren, Frank and Carla Wilson, Jason and Jenny Suddeth, Robb and Julie Kittle, Daniel Adams, Jr., Jarred Adams and Nicholas Adams.
Great-grandchildren, Shane and Tiffany Barbour, Blake Souther, Scott Souther, Kailee Kittle , Kason Kittle, Austin Hackney and Katlin Wilson.
Sister, Imogene Oxford of Dalton.
Sister-in-law, Earlene McNabb Camp of Dalton.
nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Dr. David Kitchens officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 9 P.M.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
