Sara Reid Grimes

Mrs. Sara Reid Grimes, 87, of Dalton, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira B. Grimes Jr. in 1989.
Sara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Terry Snell of Atlanta; sons and daughters-in-law, Ira B. “Pep” Grimes, III and Ann of Lookout Mtn., Ga.,
Reid and Marian Grimes of Shreveport, LA.; Six Grandchildren; One Great-Grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday at Noon in the chapel of the Dalton First United Methodist Church with the Dr. Joe Peabody and the Rev. James Hughes officiating.
Graveside services will be Thursday in LaGrange, Ga.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the church Wednesday from
10 A.M. to Noon.
The family request flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 627, Dalton, Ga. 30722-0627 or to one’s favorite charity.
