Howell Bud Ivester

Mr. Howell “Bud” Ivester, 84, of Dalton, passed away Friday, March 2, 2007.
He was the son of the late, Howell V. and Fauna Jones Ivester. Bud was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees of W.W. II; was a teacher and coach with the Dalton Public Schools for 22 years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Ivester.
Bud is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Bledsoe Ivester of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Jo Ivester of Dalton; daughter, Donna Ivester of Chatsworth and Nathan Burnette of Chatsworth; Sister, Joann Rice of Gatlinburg, Tn.; grandchildren, Todd Looper and Brian Looper both of Dalton, Derek Ivester of Boston and Aren Ivester of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Davis Looper and Annabelle Looper both of Dalton and Ashlin Ivester of Boston; nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be Monday at 2 P.M. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 901 Veterans Dr., Dalton, with the Dr. Randy Healan officiating.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tn.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Sunday from 1 to
3 P.M.
