Alan Gregg Bishop

Alan Gregg Bishop, 67, of Dalton passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020.

He was the son of the late Albert and Estelle Bishop and was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bishop, sister, Glenda Bishop and aunt, Mary Belle Price.

Alan is survived by his children, Alana Gail Bishop and Jason Alan Bishop; grandchildren, Taylor Alan Bishop (Hannah), Jordan Thomas Bishop and Alexander Bishop; great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Kaiya Bishop; sister, Dianne Smith (Jerry); nephew, Greg Smith (Brandi); niece, Melanie Bockmann; great nieces and nephew, Lauren, Emy and Will Smith.

Alan could put a smile on anyone’s face. He was an outdoorsman. Summer was his favorite time to travel to beaches and lakes with family, friends, and his puppy Duchess. Most of all he was a very talented carpenter like his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A private memorial service for family will be held.
