Alfred James Keen

Mr. Alfred James Keen, 93, of Dalton died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home.

He was the son of the late James M. and Mamie Lee Godfrey Keen and was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Alexander Keen, his sister-in-law, Carolyn S. Alexander and brothers-in-law, Charles Williams, Bob Alexander and Vernon Alexander.

Alfred was an electrician, retired from General Dynamics Corporation in San Diego, CA.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Paul W. Alexander of Ringgold; sisters-in-law, Christine Williams of San Diego and Dorothy (Gene) Arnold of Ringgold; nieces, Kathy (Jim) Ammons of Rocky Face and Deanne Marvel of San Diego; nephews, Charles Alexander of Ringgold and Brian Williams of San Diego; special cousin, Elizabeth “Pat” Robertson of Dalton; additional great nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Hamilton Hospice for the excellent care given to Alfred during his illness.

Services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Chaplain Tommy Deal officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from noon until the service at 3 p.m.
