Allie Mae (Watson) Allen-Payne

Allie, 92, of New Hope Alabama, formerly of Dalton passed away on June 20, 2020 at 2:10 pm with her youngest son, Jeff hugging her. She was born in Fannin county Georgia on December 7, 1927.

She is no longer in pain and is with her parents, Charlie & Eva (Allison) Watson; her husband of 27 years, Armer Jefferson Allen; her eldest son, Ronald Hugh Allen; her brothers, Willard, Calvin, Ernest and Marvin Watson; her sisters Mamie (Watson) Foster; and her best friend of many years since childhood, “Mag” (Millsap) Mathis.

Surviving Allie are her youngest son, Jeffery Allison Allen (wife Beth); her grandaughters, Amber (Allen) Miller, Laura (Allen) Parker (husband Chris), Amy (Allen) Shipta (husband Joey), Julie (Allen) Boullemet (husband Timothy). Her sisters Bert (Watson) Carter, Mary Lou (Watson) Hutchinson, and brother James Watson (wife Mary)

Also surviving her are her great-grandchildren, Shawna Miller, Armer “A.J.” Parker, Rayna Parker, MaKayla Parker and step-great-grandchildren, Morgan Parker, Gracie Shipta and Jamie Shipta.

She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends of Allie’s.

There will be a graveside gathering of immediate family.

Allie will be buried beside her beloved husband, Arner Jefferson Allen at the Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia.
