Alvin Wayne Hise

Alvin Wayne Hise, 79, of Dalton passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Irene Hise. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Knobby Walsh, nephew Scooter (Laurie) Swanson, niece Robin (Jeff) Ellenburg, great nieces Carson (Preston) Keck, Massey (fiancé Heath Warren) Swanson, and Bayley Ellenburg, great great nephew James Bramlett Keck. He is also survived by special friends Merv and Mary Green, Gina Swanson, his work family at Coldwell Banker Kinard Realty, and church family at South Dalton Baptist Church.

Wayne was Carpet Capital Realtor of the Year in 1982 and 1996. He was awarded Realtor Emeritus in 2018 by the National Association of Realtors for 40 plus years of service to the real estate community. He served as CCAR President in 1982 and 1996 and became a member of the CCAR Hall of Fame in 2001.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 until 6 at Love Funeral Home.
