Arnold R. Jones

Mr. Arnold R. Jones, 93, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jones and was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lee Jones; sons, Ronald and Donald Jones; daughter, Judy Jones; granddaughter, Traci Jones; sisters, Nina Gordon, Helen Black and Maude Wiley; brother, Glenn Jones.

Arnold was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served on the USS Intrepid during WWII. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Duvall Jones; son, David Jones (Elaine); granddaughter, Krista Jones; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stanley (Dustin) and Evan Elrod; great-great granddaughter, Layla Hall.

Services will be held at 4 pm on Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 4.
