Arvil Westmoreland

Mr. Arvil Westmoreland, 86, of Dalton departed this life on Monday, October 1 , 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Arvil was born June 25 , 1933 in Dalton, GA, son of the late Ben and Effie Martin Westmoreland. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Westmoreland; daughter, Barbara Adair; brothers, BL Westmoreland, Harlan Westmoreland and Neal Westmoreland.

Arvil proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela (Wayne) Murdock; grandsons, Chris Adair, Jeremy Lewallen and Randy (Angie) Lewallen; granddaughter, Angie Lovain; great-grandchildren, Yogi Lovain and Jonathan, Matthew and Caroline Lewallen; sister, Wylene (Dave) Pierce; special friend and caregiver, Charlotte Spivey; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 until 1.
