Bennie Lee Wilbanks
March 9, 1926 — December 10, 2020
Bennie Lee Wilbanks, age 94, left this life to be with Jesus on December 10th 2020.
Bennie was preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Minnie Ledford, husbands Hollace V. Cook and Vernon G. Wilbanks; grandson David Cook and three brothers, five sisters.
She was born March 09, 1926 in Hayesville, NC; she graduated from Valley Point High School in 1945. Bennie spent many years working as a caregiver providing comfort to the elderly.
She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Janice Cook of Varnell, GA., son, Thomas Wilbanks of Callaway, FL., son, Kelvin Wilbanks, of Dalton, GA. and daughter Teresa and her husband Lance Domzalski of Colorado Springs, CO., sister Leota Rollins of Carrollton, GA, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, with numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends.
A private family graveside service was held Sunday December 13th.
A “Celebration of Life” Memorial is being planned for spring 2021.
Bennie enjoyed flowers all her life, but at this unusual time, instead of flowers, memorial gifts in her honor may be made to one of the following:
