Beth Decker

Beth Decker, 80, of Nashville, GA, died Friday June 2, 2023, in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 25, 1942, in Dalton, GA to the late Grady Wilkins and the late Louise Wilson Wilkins. She was a retired educator with the Berrien County Board of Education, graduate of the University of Georgia, and member of the Nashville Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Dr. Henry J. “Hank” Decker III of Nashville; two daughters, Anna (Mark) Powell of Macon and Julie (Danny) Mayer of Lexington, KY; four special granddaughters, Harden, Mary Joiner, Edy, and Josie.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 6, 2023, at 11 AM in the Nashville Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Addington, Rev. Russ Elkins, and Rev. Bob Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville Methodist Church (P.O. Box 5036 Nashville, GA 31639).
