Betty Barbara Goss Hall

Betty Barbara Goss Hall of Dalton passed away at Southern Haven Personal Care Home on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Betty was born on January 24, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wilford H. Hall; father and mother, Joshua Paul Goss and Mamie Irene Young Goss; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Matthew Robert Hall and Johnnie Grace Rymer Hall; sisters, Ann Federici, Dot Neal, Eileen Whiteside; brothers, Calvin, Roland, Phillip, and Dwight Goss; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna (Doug) Knowles; granddaughter, Dr. Rebecca Knowles of Chatsworth; grandson, Darian (Sara) Knowles of Cumming; great-grandson, Anaiah Knowles; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Goss. Nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to express appreciation to all the ladies at Southern Haven Personal Care Home for the love and care that they gave to Mrs. Hall. Also, special thanks to Tapestry Hospice and the family of Deep Springs Baptist Church for their support and prayers during her illness.

A private family graveside service will be held at West Hill Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Sneed officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Deep Springs Baptist Church, 1660 Beaverdale Road, NE Dalton, GA 30721 or to one’s favorite charity.
