Betty J. Garmany

Betty J. Garmany, 87, of Dalton passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jay Garmany and daughter, Crystal Withrock.

Betty worked at Hancock Fabric for a long time and was a Dixie Style Clogger for 25 years. She enjoyed preforming at Prater’s Mill, Apple Festival and other events with the group. Betty loved cooking, sewing, reading, hunting shells at the beach and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Skip and Cynthia Garmany; granddaughter and her husband, Erin and John Stadnik; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Virginia Garmany.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 until 2. Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband in West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
