Betty Maureen White, age 91 of Douglas, Georgia, died Friday, June 3, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Betty was born April 16, 1931, in Dalton, Georgia to the late William Martin and Lillian Cox Roberts. She was a 1948 graduate of Valley Point High School and was crowned Miss Dalton in 1949, leading to her being a contestant in the Miss Georgia Pageant that same year. She joined AFLAC in 1977 and moved to Douglas in 1979 where she spent more than 20 years as a top performing insurance
agent before retiring. Her true enjoyment came from the time she shared with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy (Tim) Martin White of Atlanta and Lawrence Randall (Randy) White of Macon; three grandchildren, and four Great grandchildren, all residents of Tifton, Georgia; one sister,
Peggy Cochran of Dalton, Georgia; and two nephews and two nieces.
A interment service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, Georgia.
