Billy "Bill" Joe Roach

Billy Joe "Bill" Roach of Cohutta, GA passed from this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was born on September 5, 1937, in Greene County, TN. He was the son of the late Goldmon and Rosa Jarnigan Roach. Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Hazel Roach, Grace Cate, Minnie P. Goforth, Joseph G. Roach, Jr., Robert W. Roach, Carroll Roach, and Clyde Roach.

He is survived by a daughter, Susan Hixenbaugh, and a grandson, Jacob Hixenbaugh, of Cohutta, GA., and a sister, Bonnie Morgan, of Whitfield County, GA. Special nieces, Kristen Radovich, Loretta Langley, and special nephew, Patrick Roach, also survive along with special cousins, Gene Roach, Don Roach, and Donna Roach. Special thanks also to Bill’s caregiver, Cortney Rucker. Many beloved friends and neighbors were also very special to Bill.

A funeral service for Bill Roach will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Cohutta, GA.
