Bob Babb

William Robert Babb (known as Bob), 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at his home. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George Harden Babb and Lucy Fletcher Babb; his sisters: Kathleen Cochran, Minna Jennings, and Nora Jean Bradley.

Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years, Billie Darley Babb; their children and their spouses: Kathy Babb Donaldson and Bob Donaldson of Lenoir City, TN, Craig and Connie Babb of Dalton, Kent and Sonya Ellis Babb of Dalton; their grandchildren: Zachary Babb, Casey Babb Stanley (Shane), Amy Blankenship (Clint), Kenli Babb, and Shane Babb; his sister, Anne Babb Casper (Harvey). Great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Bob, along with his wife, Billie, owned and operated Babb’s Auto Service for more than 50 years.  They were members of Dug Gap Baptist Church where Bob served as a deacon.

A private family funeral service and burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Dug Gap Cemetery Fund at 909 South Hamilton Street, Dalton GA. 30720 .
