Brenda Yvonne Brown

Brenda Yvonne Brown, 74, of Rocky Face, died on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Hamilton Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Mildred Mallett; daughter, Angela Forbes; and granddaughter, Olivia Vashaun Rhodes.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of fifty (50) years, Ernest Brown; daughter, Jennifer Rhodes (Daniel); grandchildren, Caleb Rhodes (Serena Lowery), Destiny Rhodes (Dustin Roberts), Christopher Painter (Jessica), and Ciera Paul (Heath Engel); great-grandchildren, Jayden, Kase, and Layla; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Eddie Mallett (Darlene), Michael Mallett (Elaine), and Shannon Mallett (Suzanne). Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Brenda Brown will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday as well. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
