Carol Moore

Mrs. Carol Louise Moore, 80, of Dalton passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Irene Jackson Pierce and was preceded in death by her husband, Farris “Butch” Moore and brothers, Claude Pierce and Lamar Pierce.

She loved spending time with family and attending all of her grandchildren’s events. A day of shopping and eating with friends was a day well spent. She loved all things fashion, and there wasn’t a day that passed by where her beauty didn’t shine. She was a loving wife, mother and the very best Nanny.

She is survived by her son, Michael Edwin Cantrell, Sr. (Christie) of Dalton; grandchildren, Lindsay Bennett (Cole), Heather Cooper (Kat), and Michael Cantrell, Jr. (Julianne); great-grandchildren, Brax, Briggs, and Baker Bennett, Eli and Emma Cooper; brother, Bobby Joe Pierce.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
