Caroline Francis Harden

Caroline Francis Harden was born August 29, 1967.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Betty Zee Harden, Father Billy Harden, Grandfather Isom Pratt, Grandmother Clora Humble Pratt; Grandfather Clarence Harden, Grandmother Lola Grace Green Harden, Uncles Jerry and Mack Pratt, Junior Harden, Rossi Harden, Aunts Martha Pace, and Frieda Miller.

Caroline is survived by her brother Clay Harden, Uncle Frankie Pratt, Aunt Nancy Crider along with many uncles, aunts and cousins.

From day one she was a special child. Although she was born with spina bifida, she intended to do everything and go everywhere anyone else could go. She has traveled up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida, Southwest from Arizona to Alabama, across the Midwest and she has traversed the mountains of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Yellowstone and has graced both Canada and Mexico.

She lived a full and exhilarating life and was a source of joy, fun and inspiration to all.  When meeting strangers she would without hesitation say let me tell you "I was only given 6 months to 1 year to live."  And she would go on to tell you how God allowed her to live and thrive against the odds. She was direct with her testimony, strong in her faith and coffee, and she relished pulling pranks and frequently persuaded cohorts to put her mischievous plots into action.

We cannot cry for her because she has received her life-long dream of running the streets of gold with Jesus and mama. We cry for ourselves because her life impacted so many and so deeply as to leave an indelible impression on the lives of those she touched.

Her viewing will be at Love Funeral Home July 7, 2023, at 5- 8 pm for friends and extended family.

Her funeral service will be Saturday July 8, 2023, at the Love Funeral Home Chapel.  Service will begin at 12 PM. Charlie T. Pratt III will be officiating. Music:  Cecilia Kitchens and Jessica Lamb.  Paul bearers:  Jerry Pratt, Mark Pratt, Tyler Pratt, Marcus Faulknor, Kaylon Hughes and Charlie Crider.
