Carolyn King Thompson

Mrs. Carolyn King Thompson, 80, of Dalton passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Roberta Stewart Johnston and was preceded in death by her husband Bill Thompson, son David King and nephew John Cheek.

Carolyn was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She loved her Bible study group, her family, landscaping and her flowers.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ward Satterfield of Dalton; grandchildren, Caleb and Nikki Satterfield and Josh Satterfield; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Jerry Cheek of Atlanta; nieces and nephews, Ginger Hannah and Jeff Cheek.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at Grace Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Eades officiating.

Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM.
