Charlotte Culberson

Mrs. Charlotte Tankersley Culberson, 86, of Kokomo, IN and formerly of Dalton passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Louise Jenkins Tankersley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Culberson; infant son, Michael Boyd Culberson; brothers, Billy, Leroy and Bobby Tankersley; sister, Patricia Hooker.

Charlotte was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly and a great seamstress. Her passion was crocheting and having a talent for music she was able to play multiple instruments.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and John C. Burnett of Kokomo and Angie and Mark Lewis of Knoxville, TN; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday at the Church of God of the Union Assembly with Rev. Lonnie Starnes officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home from 5 to 9 pm on Wednesday.
