Connie R. Potts

Mrs. Connie Rombold  Potts, 72 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday July 9, 2023 at Quinton Memorial and Rehabilitation Center. Connie was born August 30, 1950, in Cleveland, TN the daughter of the late Paul Higdon. She was also preceded by her husband, Deputy Durwin Lynn Potts and son-in-law, Brandon Varnell.

Connie spent many years in law enforcement for the city of Dalton. she was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and friend.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Rebekah Varnell; son, Christian Ratcliff; mother, Bonnie Shields brothers, Steve (Sandy) Higdon, Allen (Melinda) Higdon; grandchildren, Trystan, Isabella, Kate, Chase, Kaylie and Jordon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Connie will be held Wednesday July 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Ingram officiating. She will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery in Tennga, Georgia with her family serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday July 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.
