Crystal Garmany Withrock

Crystal Garmany Withrock, 58, of Dalton passed peacefully into the next chapter of eternal life on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas “Jay” Garmany, Sr.

Crystal was born in Rome, Georgia on March 14, 1964. She along with her parents and brother John Thomas (Skip) Garmany Jr. moved to Dalton in 1964 where Jay and Jay’s brother Doug Garmany established Garmany’s Ltd. Crystal graduated from Dalton High School in 1982. While there she was a majorette in the renowned Dalton High School band for three years. After graduation from Dalton High, Crystal continued her education at Dalton State College, earning a degree in Secretarial Sciences.

Crystal is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, R. Mike Withrock; mother, Betty Duke Garmany and brother, John Thomas (Skip) Garmany Jr. (Cynthia).

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Crystal Garmany Withrock will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery where Crystal will be laid to rest adjacent to her late father. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of NWGA, P.O.
