Danny Brock

Mr. Danny Brock, age 73, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, January 24, 2025.

Danny was born on Sunday, June 3, 1951, in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Mr. Otis and Mrs. Mildred Brock.

To know Danny was to love him.  Everyone who knew Danny, friends and family alike, knew him to be a very kind, loving, and humble man.  He loved his family dearly and would gladly, without hesitation, do anything for anyone who needed his help.  He was a hard-working man with a diligent work ethic, and he loved building things and spending time in his workshop.  He was an avid collector of various antiquities, including (but not limited to) baseball cards and memorabilia, coins, and case knives.  In addition to collecting, he loved country music.  He also loved the outdoors, especially fishing.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his brother-in-law and close friend, Leon Pratt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mrs. Patsy Brock.  He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Amy Brock; his grandchildren, Hayden Brock and Madi Sampson; his sister, Jane Pratt; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Brady and Fay Creel, David and Mary Luz Brock, and Garland Brock.  He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Danny Brock will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.  Mr. Brock's family will lay him to rest at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation before the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
