Danny Dyer

Charles Daniel “Danny” Dyer, 57, of Dalton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 16, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd B. Pratt and Bessie Katherine Pratt; father, Jerome Dyer; special cousin, Michael Cook; aunts and uncles.

Danny was an avid hunter, equestrian and motorcycle rider. He loved his friends and family and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Dyer; sister and brother-in-law, Alisa and Marty Hutcherson; adopted sister, Jeri Jones; adopted son, Daniel Slade Jones; special friend, Paula Elrod; several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 on Thursday. Danny will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday until the time of service. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
