David George Joyner

David George Joyner, 71, of Dalton, passed away at Hamilton Medical Center on Friday, December 31, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, George Joyner.

Mr. Joyner is survived by his wife of fifty (50) years, Pamela Joyner; daughters, Melanie Bishop and Amy Jaekel (Sven); granddaughters, Lexi Jaekel and Luci Jaekel; mother, Bonnie Joyner; sisters, Gail Fogarty (Jim) and Debbie Dennemann (Mike); and sister-in-law, Sharon Broeker.

Mr. Joyner proudly served our country and retired from the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Detachment 1309-Marine Corps League. He was also active in Boy Scouts and Toys for Tots.

A memorial service for Mr. Joyner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Reverend Rick Tiff officiating. Due to the issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that all persons attending the memorial service please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
