Dennis Lamar Jackson

Dennis Lamar Jackson, 78, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, January 21, 2019.

Born and raised in Dalton, Georgia, Dennis was a member of Central Church of Christ, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents CH and Ethel Hiett Jackson; brothers Raymond Jackson, Bobby Jackson, and Hubert Jackson.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Kittle Jackson; son and daughter-in-law Marty and Cindy Jackson of Dalton, daughter and son-in-law Missy and Brandon Fletcher of Ringgold, Georgia; grandchildren Aubrey Biddle of Temple, Georgia, Devin Sanders of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Drake Sanders of Dalton; brothers and sisters Wayne (Linda) Jackson of Chatsworth, Georgia, Janice (Troy) Collis of Jasper, Georgia, Gary Jackson of Rocky Face, Georgia, Elaine (Sammy) Scott of Dalton and Robbie (Kim) Stone of Dalton; nieces and nephews; and special uncle and aunt, AC and Shaughne Warnack of Palm Springs, California.  The family gives special thanks to Dr. Rod Ingraham and his staff for the care, concern and spiritual uplifting provided for our precious Dennis.

Family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Central Church of Christ, 515 N. Tibbs Rd., Dalton, Georgia. The service to celebrate the life of Dennis Jackson will follow visitation and commence at 12:30 p.m. at Central Church of Christ with Pastor Darey Kittle and Pastor Ross Jordan officiating.
