Dewayne Smith

Master Sergeant, retired, Dewayne E. Smith, age 70, of Rocky Face passed away November 3, 2018 at Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents Milburn and Madeline Smith, sisters Sharron Wilson and Glenda Painter, brothers-in-law Lynn Souther, R.L. (Bob) Smith and Sheila Souther.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Janice Smith, son Dewayne E. Smith Jr, daughter Madeline K. Smith and step-son Daniel S. Garvey, along with daughter-in-law Carrie Garvey and granddaughter Adysen Garvey. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law Annette Souther, Donna and Larry Stevens, Judy and Ralph Weaver, Ricky and Carol Smith, Larry and Pat Smith, Leon Wilson and Ronald Painter plus nieces and nephews.

Dewayne’s wishes were to be cremated with no services or memorial.
