Dewey Lee Cavender

Dewey Lee Cavender, 82, of Dalton passed away at home on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

He was the son of the late Lee and Lela Cavender and was also preceded in death by his siblings, Esta Biles, Bernice Bryant and Bill Cavender.

Dewey is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Harris Cavender; children, Karen Cavender Baker (Mike), Amy Bailey (Steven), David Cavender (Connie), Daniel Cavender (Kim) and Erin Albright (William); grandchildren, Brianna Evans (Jeremy), Savanna Bailey, Allanna Bailey, Logan Bailey, Brittany Hord (Tyler), Whitlee Hearn (Ryland), Josh Cavender (Mariah), Avery Albright and Ryleigh Albright; great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Adaline, Asher, Alston, Anderson, Allister and Annalise Evans, Lennon, Hattie and Avett Hord, and Waylon and Wyatt Hearn; many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family. A special thank you to Paula Cavender for her care.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 PM at Love Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at Dug Gap Baptist Church.
