Edna Mae Sane Jones

Edna Mae Sane Jones, 91, of Tunnel Hill passed away on Wednesday, March 17, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Jones; parents, James Samuel and Jessie Lee Groom Sane; son, Jerry Lee Roach; granddaughter, Caitlyn Cochran; brothers, William (Bill) Sane, Samuel Sane, John Sane, Ray V. Sane, William Baugh, and Franklin (Ted) Sane; and sisters, Mary Nell Sane Witt and Juanita (Baugh) Porter.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children: Doris (Chester) Talley of Tunnel Hill, Dovie (Ken) Williams of Dalton, Bobbie (Sidney) Chastain of Dalton, Judy (Rusty) Cochran of Adairsville, Larry Roach of Tunnel Hill, and Roger (Lisa) Roach of Dalton; seven (7) grandsons and four (4) granddaughters; eight (8) great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Ruth Sane. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Ringgold and Riverbend Church of Christ. The family expresses appreciation to Hamilton Hospice for the love, compassion, and care that was provided for Mrs. Jones.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home on Monday, March 22, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Mike Gurganus officiating. Burial will follow at Colonial Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.
