Elizabeth Eileen Goss Whiteside

Elizabeth Eileen Goss Whiteside passed away peacefully on November 1 , 2020 in her daughter Carleen’s home in Tunnel Hill, GA. Elizabeth was born in Vero Beach, FL to the late J.P. and Mamie Goss.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years George Carl Whiteside, her grandchildren; Jacob and Katie Ingle, sons in law; Randy Long and Cliffton Corban Ingle, mother and father in law; Jim and Rosa Whiteside, sisters and brothers; Anne and Phil Federici, Dot and JD Neal, Calvin and Frances Goss, Roland Goss, Phillip Goss, Dwight Goss, brothers and sisters in law; Bill Hall, Marvin and Carol Whiteside, Harvey Whiteside, Thomas Whiteside and Doug Hammontree.

She is survived by her children; Carleen Ingle, Michael and Beverly Whiteside, Judy and David Clark, and Peggy Long, grandchildren; Sarah and Madison Stamey, Jennifer and Eric Hayes, Chris Massingill, Jeff and Nikki Whiteside, Sheena Everett, Preston Branson, MaryBeth and Guy Warmack, Allie Long and Emily Long, sister Barbara Hall and brothers and sisters in law; Dorothy Goss, Janet Goss Williams, Libby Whiteside, Mary Hammontree, Charles and Jean Whiteside; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always made sure everyone she was around felt loved.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Danny Goss officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 until 3 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
