Eva King Taylor

Eva King Taylor, 83, of Dalton passed away at Hamilton Medical Center on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.A. and Mattie King, and her siblings. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jack W. Taylor, and her children, Thomas Arch Taylor and Peggy Irene Wilson (Scott). Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of Central Church of Christ in Dalton. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a Rural Route Carrier. She also previously worked for H & R Block and Sears.

Funeral services for Eva King Taylor will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Central Church of Christ (515 North Tibbs Road, Dalton, GA 30720).
