Evelyn L. Bahlow

Evelyn L. Bahlow, 97, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Regency Park Health. She was born in Roscoe, PA on March 12, 1927 to the late William Sidney Lewis, Jr. and Susanna Ermlick Lewis.

After graduating from high school in 1944, she moved to Washington D.C. to work for the F.B.I. until 1950. There she met and married her husband, Ed Bahlow in 1951. In 1957, the family was transferred to Jacksonville, FL. Evelyn and her husband loved Florida and enjoyed playing golf in their spare time.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, parents Sidney and Susanna Lewis, brother Alvin Lewis, and sister and brother-in-law, Elinor and Andy Zolock. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen (David) Barbaree and grandson Drew Barbaree.

Her family would like to thank the Regency Park nursing staff and Hamilton Hospice staff for the excellent, loving care they provided.

A private graveside service will be held in the West Hill Cemetery at a later date.
