Franklin Delano Welch

Franklin Delano Welch, 81, of Dalton, passed away at his home on February 7, 2021. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Joe R. and Laura Ensley Welch, and his siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wanda Faye Welch; his children, Danny (Dawn) Welch, Donnie (Virginia) Welch, and Gail (Neil) Ridley; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Welch will be on Wednesday, February 10, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 9, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Conasauga Kidney Care, 1506 Broadrick Drive, Dalton, GA 30720.
